A High Land Longhorn Bull enjoying a wild flower meadow. Vale of Pewsey, North Wiltshire, UK.
The original plant paintings were created after I was diagnosed as having prostate cancer in 2011. The watercolour paintings of plants, vine sticks and cuttings are from my garden in North Wiltshire, UK. The table plant cuttings of flowers depict the joy of life and the importance of taking a moment longer to look at our world. The creative process is fundamental and can be significant in maintaining mental health and physical health.
